Small talk and a cup of coffee is the perfect way to start the year on a positive note.
I decided to create two new traditions: ending the year with a post on how to celebrate the New Year and starting the New Year with small talk.
Looking back in 2023, it was a challenging year for me, filled with stress and lots of arguments. But I made it through. I became stronger, and I’m now in 2024. I am grateful to you, my dear readers and friends, who have helped me so many times to raise myself out of my bad moods and negative thoughts. Your support and kind words mean a lot to me. Thank you!
In return, I would like to share my kindness and positive emotions through this post and I hope this content will inspire you as well.
To begin with, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
I truly believe in the power of positivity and I am sending my best wishes for a Happy New Year to all of you.
Let’s enter the year 2024 with effortlessness, optimism, confidence, and flexibility, just like this incredible Japanese American dancer Jastin Jay Takagi (JJ) in his amazing dance.
I also wish you:
Remember to be strong, resilient, and never give up, the same as this incredible pistachio tree that surprised everyone by growing out of a huge rock in Arsanjan, Fars Province, Iran. This tree reminds us that anything is possible.

I have always believed that art, sports, culture, significant challenges, tragedy, and moments of joy can bring people together. Our world needs to be united and show each other kindness and support. Check out this captivating video! How wonderful to be together.
Education and knowledge are essential for everyone. Educate yourself, consider carefully, and conduct an in-depth study before you support any movement.
The George Peabody Library is one of the most magnificent libraries in the world, as well as an important teaching and research center.
The library has 300,000 volumes, most of which are from the nineteenth century, with a focus on religion, British art, architecture, topography, and history; American history, biography, and literature; Romance languages and literature; and scientific history, geography, exploration, and travel.
We have lots of resources available for learning and self-education. Why don’t we use it?
Technology is an unavoidable element of our lives, affecting every sphere, including art. Embrace the opportunity to learn, grow, and create. Just take a moment to admire the incredible beauty of the bamboo fountains in Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, China.
Be creative.
The world is filled with beauty. Take some time to appreciate the wonderful things around you.
Pingba, Guizhou Province is home to the largest Sakura garden in China, which has almost half a million exquisite trees.
Enjoy your life.
Bernard Werber, a French science fiction writer stated:
“Life is like a book. Do not skip a single chapter and continue to turn the pages. Sooner or later, you will understand why each chapter was necessary.”

Discover and learn something new. For example, ancient Japanese drawing techniques. It’s known as “hitofude”, which means “one stroke of the brush”. This technique involves drawing the body of a dragon with a single, continuous stroke, without lifting the brush.
Things should never stop to amaze and impress you. Take a look at this incredible kinetic building façade created by Shahab Shafei Studio.
Take more breaks like these rocking horses. Horses tend to love rocking because it helps them to stretch their muscles, relieve joint discomfort, and just enjoy themselves.
Or imagine yourself washing away your stress with water from this fountain.
Always strive for your goals and dreams. Remember that only those who move forward will find their way.
I hope my post inspired you in some way or was just entertaining and relaxing to you.
Happy New Year!
With love
Angela
