Travel Thursday: Paris. Tip for travelers.

Have you watched the movie “Midnight in Paris”?

“Midnight in Paris” is a romantic comedy, beautiful fantasy and well-done movie written and directed by Woody Allen. And, of course, it was filmed in Paris.

It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and other good actors.

You’ll love watching this movie, and I have no doubt that you’ll like the vibe, gorgeous Paris, Jazz music, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and other 1920s legends.

Also, you would have recognised a lot of the movie’s locations if you had ever been to Paris.

If you are planning to visit Paris, this fun tip is for you.

You probably remember a scene from the film in which Gil gets lost one night while wandering the city and sits on some church steps. At midnight, a large old Peugeot pulling up with revellers inside invites Gil to join in the fun.

We found this spot when we visited Paris.

It is the Church of St Etienne du Mont, rue de la Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, Paris. Just a 13-minute walk from Notre-Dame de Paris.
