Beach

Ah, the beach—an oasis of harmony, relaxation, and endless summertime joy. Beach etiquette is essential to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone enjoying the sun, sand, water and maintaining a relaxing environment. Let’s continue to learn guidelines for beach etiquette:
Children on the beach

The beach is a great place to relax and forget about everything. But if you come with a family, do not leave your children unattended and watch your kids.
- Never let your kids go loose on the beach. It is unsafe and could irritate others.
- Make sure they don’t make excessive noise or kick sand in other people’s paths.
- It is fine if they splash, shout, shoot with water guns, play ball, or jump into the water, but make sure it doesn’t bother other people. If your child throws stones into the water or throws sand or balls at other children, this must be stopped immediately.
- Tell your child that he/she must approach people with caution, taking care not to step on their hands or cover them with sand.
- If you must comment on someone else’s child, do so politely and via the child’s parents.
- Teach your child to be respectful of your own and others’ personal space. Avoid shouting commands like “Put on a hat” over the entire beach.
- Teach your children that they shouldn’t criticize other people and they can’t point a finger at them. Kids should ask some questions quietly and in their mother’s ear.
- When instructing a youngster not to scream on the beach, be mindful of your own behavior. Avoid loud conversations or phone calls, do not use vulgar phrases, or discuss your personal matters.
Don’t play loud music
You should not disturb the people around you with loud music, conversations, or vulgar language. Remember, many come to the beach to unwind and relax. Some people prefer listening to the birds or the waves, so if you want to listen to music, bring headphones with you.
Advice for couples
Kisses, intense hugs, and touching in public are unacceptable. Some people may find your passion inappropriate, rude, or insulting.
Please follow etiquette rules. Everyone should be able to feel comfortable.
Pets

Verify if dogs are permitted on the beach. Pets are not allowed on some beaches because their waste frequently pollutes the shoreline. However, there are some beaches where dogs are welcome. The most important thing is to walk your pet on a leash and clean up after your pet.
Never leave a dog unattended.
Keep pets away from other people, even if your dog is friendly. Some people are very afraid of dogs, even cute ones.
Don’t let your dog chase birds. It might cause stress to them.
Take care of your dog’s health. It’s essential to keep in mind that spending the day at the beach is not a walk in the park. Keep in mind that beaches are harsh places with sharp shells, hot sand, and extreme heat.
Do not allow your pet to swim in a pool or other place where people are swimming. Not everyone would enjoy swimming beside your dog.
Do not play with your dog by throwing toys into the water.
Do not allow your dog to wander around and beg for food.
If your dog is very noisy and you can’t control the barking, then do not bring him to the beach. Unexpected barking from the dog may frighten kids and people. It is unacceptable.
Clean Up After Yourself:
Take responsibility for your trash and belongings. Avoid leaving behind any litter, such as cigarette butts or plastic waste. Dispose of trash in designated bins or take it with you when you leave. Keep the beach clean for everyone may enjoy it.
Respect Wildlife and Marine Life:
Many beaches are home to various forms of wildlife and marine life. Please do not disturb or harm these creatures. Avoid touching or removing shells, coral, or any other natural resources you may come across. When snorkeling or diving, keep a safe distance from marine life and never touch or bother them.
Sunscreen and Hydration:
Protect yourself from the sun by using sunscreen and staying hydrated. Apply sunscreen regularly to prevent sunburn. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoiding excessive alcohol consumption.
Pool

If you choose to stay beside the pool, there are some rules to follow:
- Never leave your slippers near the pool stairs while you are swimming. Put your shoes away so they are not blocking others.
- Do not throw inflatable rings or mattresses onto the sun loungers. It will be wet.
- Make sure your kids are wearing sandals rather than playing barefoot in the pool area. Swimming with dirty feet will not please anyone.
- Avoid blowing your nose or spitting into the water.
- When floating on a mattress, take care not to bump on another person.
- Avoid jumping and splashing.
As we say goodbye to the beach today, please remember to practice proper etiquette the next time you enjoy the sun and listen to the rhythmic sound of waves at the resort. By following these rules and respecting others, we can enjoy the calmness and wonderful views of the shoreline, while also protecting the wildlife, and preserving the natural beauty of the coastlines.

There was a time, long gone, that I would have been amazed to see such a long guideline of behaviour for merely going to the beach. However it has been carefully compiled using all the misbehaviour, selfishness and plain stupidity that has been observed over time. It is a long time since I was at a beach but all of these infractions are familiar and no doubt contributed to my staying away. Hopefully people will read your very inclusive guideline and make life at the beach a pleasant experience once again! All excellent points!

To be honest , I prefer not to go to the beach. With all the people and noise around me, I find it impossible to enjoy. However, vacation at all-inclusive resorts is simple. It is not necessary for people to make plans, memorise maps, do in-depth research on “things to see and do,” etc. I really hope that my guidelines will be helpful and that everyone will feel comfortable there.
Thanks a lot Carolyn!
